Logging in: three surfaces, three sets of credentials

Client area and mobile app

These use your registered email address and account password, plus a two-factor code. They give access to funding, verification and account settings.

MetaTrader

MetaTrader uses a numeric trading account number, the trading password and the exact server name. These are different from your client area credentials, and the server name must match character for character.

When login fails

Work through the causes in order: wrong surface, wrong server, expired session after a password change, two-factor time drift on the device clock, then network filtering.

• Check you are using email for the app and account number for MetaTrader
• Copy the server name from the client area rather than typing it
• Sign out fully after any password change
• Ensure automatic date and time is enabled for two-factor codes
