Trading on iPhone: a clean, secure setup

iOS handles background apps aggressively, so notification and Focus settings decide whether alerts arrive.

Installing and signing in

Install from the App Store and verify the developer name on the listing before downloading.

  • Open the App Store on your iPhone and search for the broker's official application.
  • Check the developer name on the listing before installing — copycat apps use similar icons and names.
  • Install, open the app and choose between signing in to an existing account or registering a new one.
  • Complete two-factor authentication setup on first launch so the device is registered as trusted.
  • Open a demo account first and place a small test order to confirm order handling behaves as expected.

Face ID, alerts and Focus modes

Enable Face ID or Touch ID for app entry, allow time-sensitive notifications, and add the trading app as an allowed app in any Focus mode you use during market hours. Otherwise iOS will silently hold your margin alerts.

Battery and connectivity

Low Power Mode suspends background refresh, which can delay push delivery. During an active session, keep it off and prefer Wi-Fi where available.

Frequently asked questions

Almost always a Focus mode or a disabled notification permission. Check Settings, Notifications, then the trading app, and confirm time-sensitive alerts are allowed.
