Crypto CFDs: continuous markets, discontinuous risk

Crypto CFDs give exposure to coin prices without a wallet, and trade through the weekend when most other instruments are closed.

CFD versus owning the asset

A CFD tracks the price; you never hold coins, keys or an exchange account. That removes custody risk and adds leverage, financing costs and broker counterparty considerations instead.

Volatility and sizing

Double-digit percentage days occur regularly. Leverage available on crypto is normally much lower than on FX for this reason, and even at low leverage positions should be small relative to account equity.

Weekend behaviour

Crypto keeps trading while equity and FX markets are closed, often on thinner liquidity with wider spreads. Positions carried into Friday evening should be sized for that environment.
